Hi, my name is Huckleberry and I’m an active 5-month old boy who would love a home to call my own.Ā Although I’m just a little guy right now, I will be a large dog when I grow up.Ā I am very smart and would benefit from Puppy 101, basic obedience, and maybe even an agility class!Ā And, I’m getting better at my potty training every day.

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?Ā
Well, right now I am just a sapling, but pretty soon I am going to grow into a big strong California Redwood.

What movie star would you want to portray you in a movie of your life?
I live in the land of actors—Hollywood. I’m sure I have my pick of the litter (get it?) when it comes to finding the right guy to play me.

What is your favorite board game?
Board games? More like ā€œboredā€ games. Am I right? Let’s go outside and play fetch or take me for a walk.

Beach or mountains?
Oh, that’s easy. I’m a Cali dog—lets go to the beach, baby!

Hamburger or hot dog?
I’m a growing boy; give me two of each.

I am an inquisitive 6-year-old girl who is very social and sweet.Ā I love to hang out with just about anyone and I do well with other pets.Ā I’d love to come to a house with another cat so I could have a playmate. I also adore kids!Ā  I’m a lovebug, andĀ  am part of the Underdog (& Cat) program, which means I have a special adoption fee.

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?
I would be the kind that provides for others. The fruit would be my friendship, the shade my loyalty, and the beauty would be my cuteness.

What is your favorite board game?
I like any games that make people laugh and have a good time. Maybe a nice round of charades would be fun—I am quite the actress.

If you won the lottery, what would you do?
Oh my God, I won the lottery?! I’m going to buy SO much catnip.

Why should YOU go home with a family right now?
I am really friendly. Plus didn’t you hear? I just won the lottery.

Pink or purple?
I think I would look striking in a collar of either color.

Hello! My name is Joey! I’m a gorgeous young guy, and I am very smart and sweet.Ā  Although you’d never know to look at me (and play with me) but I have a heart murmur. Just so long as I don’t try to run a marathon, I’ll be just fine.Ā  I’m looking for a family that appreciates a fun-loving young guy who’s uniquely handsome and friendly with both people and other cats.

What movie star would you want to portray you in a movie of your life?
Oooh! Robert DeNiro.Ā  He may look rough and tough on the outside, but you can tell that he is just an absolute sweetheart on the inside.

If you won the lottery, what would you do?
Some would go to my favorite rescue, of course, but I think I’d spend most of it on tuna. Is that wrong?

What is your favorite song?
ā€œUnbreak My Heartā€ by Toni Braxton.Ā  Maybe if you take me home, my broken heart will be fixed!

Hamburger or hot dog?
Can I say tuna instead? Because I would definitely choose tuna.

Hi! I’m Dylan! I’m an active and alert guy with a gorgeous brindle coat.Ā  I’m also a natural ambassador because I get along so well with other dogs, even dogs I’ve just met. Plus, it’s so much fun just taking a walk with me because I have such a good time—it’s exciting just being with me and seeing the world through my eyes. I’m compact, with a charming, outgoing personality and great leash manners.Ā  With me by your side, how could life get any better?

What is your favorite board game?
LIFE.Ā  Because that is what I am looking to spend with you.Ā  Bring me home and we are going to be the best of friends.Ā  I guarantee it!

Who is your best friend?
I think I’ve got a pretty good idea of who I want to be my best friend, but that is going to be up to you now, isn’t it?

Hamburger or Hotdog?
If you’re offering, I’ll have one of each, please!

Why should YOU go home with a family right now?
Because I am ready. I am ready to be somebody’s pal.Ā  I love everyone here and I’m sure they’ll miss me, but they’ll be happy to see me go to my forever home!

Meet Jackie. She is a beautiful one-year-old, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, housetrained, black and white, English Springer Spaniel mix. Jackie is just the happiest Springer Spaniel ever. One reason might be that her tail is nice and long, not the short stump of the docked Springer. She was brought to the shelter with her puppies. They were all adopted so she is on her own. Jackie is very upbeat and enthusiastic, she’s a bundle of loving energy.

What is your favorite song?
Well, I am lucky to have my tail so I always wag it along with any upbeat tempo.

What is your favorite activity?
I love all kinds of exercise and if you add a ball, OH BOY!Ā  FUN FUN FUN!

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?
Anywhere with endless beaches and long days of fun in the sun with a new family would make me very happy.

Why should you go home with a family today?
I am so full of joy, life, love and energy.Ā  I will make a great playmate and the very best, best friend for any family!

Jack is a solid, handsome orange Tabby. This 5-year-old hunk has had a run of bad luck finding his forever home and is looking for someone who understands cats and will give him a chance to show you what a great guy he is. An injury as a kitten has left Jack with a cloudy left eye, but it doesn’t cloud his outlook on life! Jack enjoys people and would prefer to be your one and only, though he has lived with dogs before. Jack is best suited for an adult-only cat-savvy home.

Who would portray you in a blockbuster movie?
Frank Sinatra, a cool, mysterious, mellow dude who people are drawn to and who is all class.

Where would you go on vacation?
Anywhere in the Caribbean, I would make a great pirate with a cool eye patch!

What is your favorite song?
ā€œNever Gonna Leave This Bedā€ by Maroon 5.

Why should you go home with a family today?
I may seem like a tough guy, but I’m actually a softie who enjoys lounging with you. I would love a home with sunshine pouring into its windows so I can sunbathe.

Meet Clark! He is a gorgeous 8-year-old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Black Lab mix. Once you get to know him, he will steal your heart! Clark’s looking for that special someone who will take the time to get to know him and help him fit into the family.
