Hi, my name is Rosie. I’m a 5- or 6 year-old Corgi mix who loves other dogs and all people. My foster mom always tells me she is so glad I’m so mellow and easy-going, so I guess that’s a good thing. I like to chill out, love walks and really like these things called bully sticks. I’m house-trained, don’t bark, and I like car rides! I’m super-grateful to my friends at the Trio Animal Foundation for helping cover my medical bills—I was not feeling well and they helped make me better!
If you were a plant, what kind of plant would you be?
I’d be a rose bush, of course!
Pink or purple? Beach or mountains? Hamburger or hot dog?
Purple…beach…hot dogs.
If you could have opposable thumbs for a day, what would you do?
I’d make a bunch of those layered fleece blankets. I could give them to all my old shelter buddies so they could snuggle in a warm hug. They’re so comfy!

Rosie looks and sounds like quite a girl. My LAYLA is a 2-1/2 year old Basenji Corgi mix … and a Puerto Rican rescue from the amazing Northeast animal Shelter. Layla’s one of the loves of my life and my Service dog and Pet Therapy Dog. find it in your heart to adopt Rosie.
