Hello! My name is Lily, and I’m an 8-year-old female domestic short hair, declawed kitty. My friends say I‘ve been putting on the pounds since I came to the shelter and could probably lose a few now, but I don’t care what they think… besides, I’m not fat, I’m just furry. I like to get pets and affection. I’m not a fan of kids or adults that want to hold me—I’m an adult that wants to make my own decisions and be in control, and I like all four paws on a surface. The shelter keeps talking about finding a new “parent” for me, but really I just want a roommate that will pay the bills, feed me, and hang out with me when I’m in the mood. If I had my choice, a boy roommate that wants to be a couch potato with me would be really great!

What movie star would you want to portray you in a movie of your life and why?
I feel that Rosanne Barr could portray me the best—she just says it like it is without  for how she looks or what people think about her! And she’s funny!

Why should YOU go home with a family right now?
I should definitely go home with a family right now because I’m so cool to hang out with, and I’m tired of being at the shelter. There are all these kittens running around being crazy, and lots of roommates (other shelter cats) that I have to deal with all the time. Everyone is younger and so immature. I feel at my age I should be able to sit around and watch TV in peace. Don’t worry, you can pick the shows.
