Paws N Claws Eyewear Partners with the ASPCA

By Kari Remkus

What could be better than being fashionable and helping a great cause at the same time? Paws N Claws Eyewear is now partnering with the ASPCA to produce a line of products ranging from eyeglass frames and sunglasses to magnifiers and other accessories. All of the eyewear designs include embellished paw prints, bones, and animal prints so you can subtly show your support for animal welfare. Even better, 3-5% of the purchase price of all Paws N Claws eyewear sales until February 2015 will be donated to the ASPCA — with a minimum donation of $30,000.

“We are looking forward to breaking into the eyewear market with Paws N Claws Eyewear as our exclusive partner,” says Elysia Howard, vice president of Marketing and Licensing for the ASPCA. “The unique business model of Paws N Claws®allows customers to support the ASPCA’s lifesaving work by purchasing a fashionable and quality product.”

Sam Shapiro created Paws N Claws in an effort to raise awareness and funds for animal welfare. Paws N Claws eyewear and sunglasses are now available at hundreds retailers across the United States, with plans to be in many more locations soon. Last year, Paws N Claws Eyewear donated several thousand dollars to the ASPCA and, with its recent growth, hopes to be able to increase that amount in the years to come. Shapiro explained, “We want to support a cause that’s close to our hearts and make it easy for pet lovers everywhere to join in the fight to prevent cruelty to animals.”

This is a fun, accessible way to help a wonderful cause! For more information and to find a retailer near you visit pawsnclawseyewear.com.
