Adopt Me Effie Pit Bull Mixd LouisvilleLouisville

Saving Sunny, Inc.

Hi, I’m Effie! When I hear the people around me talking, it’s a constant flood of happy sounding words like “adorable”, “gentle”, “sweet”, “and beautiful.” I just had my first birthday, and while I still have my puppy charm and playful disposition, l love nothing more than to snuggle up with my humans or just hang out, take a ride in the car, or do whatever my people want to do. I can go anywhere with my family because I am fantastic with people of all ages and sizes. I have not met a dog I don’t like and, when I meet cats, I invite them to play but I respect their decision to smack me instead! I weigh around 50 pounds right now, and some people seem to think that I’ll get a bit bigger before I’m done growing. My momma was a Pit Bull-type dog and there is no telling what my dad was. We think he was pretty big though. They say that I inherited my mom’s beauty and I cannot argue with that!

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?
An oak tree because it is big, strong and beautiful.

If you won the lottery, what would you do?
First, I would make sure that my new parent(s) never have to work again and could live a life of luxury. Shameless, I know. Then I would donate every leftover penny to ensuring that every dog and cat gets spayed/neutered, and that shelters everywhere have the resources to care for, rehabilitate, and adopt out every animal that comes through their doors.
