Shine a Light on a Shelter

Now through August 20, Purina ONE® beyOnd® and GOOD are inviting everyone to vote for the most innovative animal shelter from their list of 40 finalists, with the winning shelter receiving a $10,000 grant. The Shine a Light on a Shelter Challenge seeks to recognize shelters across the nation that are going above and beyond in their efforts to make a positive difference for shelter animals, and to enable them to continue doing such good work.

The 40 shelters that make up the finalists were all nominated by the public—nominators were asked to describe the shelter and explain the unique ways they are working to change perceptions and find homes for more animals.
