TAILS Product Spotlight brought to you by our friends at PupLight!
Love taking nighttime walks with your dog but hate the lack of visibility? Make sure your dog shines twice as bright with the PupLight2! This innovative product is designed for maximum ease and safety—the Puplight2 makes dogs visible up to a mile away, increases visibility so you can see what’s in front of you, and even helps older dogs see better.
The first night we put the Puplight2 on Squidge, our industrious test dog, and went for a walk we couldn’t believe we’d ever gone out in the dark without it. The intuitive design meant that his fur never blocked the bright halo of light, and the elastic band was super easy to get on and off. And better yet, no more tripping over mystery holes in the sidewalk—we could see for yards ahead of us and always knew what was coming.
Do you have a senior dog? This product is perfect for older dogs with poor eyesight. We tried it on Kaya, a slightly older test dog who was recently found to have cataracts; right away we noticed she was acting significantly more energetic and excited on her late night strolls.
Whether you want to brighten up the dark a little bit for you and your dog, or you just want some added comfort and safety on your nighttime walk through the park, you should try the PupLight2!
Two lucky TAILS fans are going to win a PupLight2 so they can upgrade their late night strolls! Simply comment below telling us what you might find on your nighttime walk if you had the PupLight2. We’ll pick two winners, who will get the perfect product for keeping pets safe and stylish in the dark!
Open to U.S. residents only. Winners will be selected on Monday, August 27, and will be notified by email.

I have one 14 and an almost 10 year old black lab mixes. We go camping a lot, have stairs in our home and our yard, and this nifty item would help the elder see better no matter where she may be! It is sad to see her age as time goes on, but any way we can make her time safer and more enjoyable is beneficial to us all! Thank you for your consideration and have a nice day!

9pm. Dark. Just got home from my ER shift. Taking out my two active dogs for a walk with poop bags and a flashlight in tow. Walking down a street without lights. Of course I’m on call and, of course, the phone rings with work on the other line. Now it’s two active dogs, poop bags, holding a cell phone, holding a flash light. Oh….and there’s a car coming down and I’m not sure they can see us. Stepping off to the side of the road to ensure the car doesn’t smack us and yes…I step in dog poop.
So…two active dogs, poop bags, holding a cell phone and talking to work, holding a flash light and a shoe in poop.
So where could you see me if I had this most excellent product at night? Happier.
If my dog could lead the way and hold its own flash light I’d have one more hand free. Phew!

I would be able to see everything on the ground that slithers in the night. And be able to have a hand free instead of carrying a large flashlight to light our way.
