Fresh Dog: The Fastest Fix For Your Dirty Dog

TAILS Product Spotlight brought to you by our friends at Fresh Dog!

Introducing the fastest and easiest way to take your dog from filthy to fresh.

Looking for the ultimate fast fix for dirty fur? Fresh Dog is a new line of innovative products designed to keep best friends smelling as fresh as they feel. Gentle, refreshing, and super easy to use, you and your dog will be happy!

The signature product is Fresh Dog Dry Shampoo Powder. This 100% natural deodorizing powder is safe for use on all hair/fur types. It features a soothing Lavender-Rosemary scent and perfect pH balance to instantly freshen your dog’s coat in minutes. Perfect for waterless bathing, on-the-go spot cleaning, and even for freshening up carpets and smelly pet bedding!

Get your pup even fresher with Fresh Dog Waterless Bath Foam. Enjoy the delicious grapefruit scent while the fun and easy foam repels dirt. Fast acting and quick drying, it’s an ideal way to keep your dog feeling, looking, and smelling good.

It gets better—Fresh Dog has just expanded their product line to include an irresistible Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo, which is infused with pure extracts of sweet almond oil, coconut, and Echinacea is an all-natural and aroma-therapeutic way to soothe and disinfect your pet. Safe for puppies, dogs, cat, and kittens, there’s no question that this is the gentlest shampoo for keeping your pet fresh.

Try the Oatmeal Conditioner for added moisture and shine. A calming infusion of oatmeal, Shea, and green tea, this conditioner smells amazing, and offers a safe, natural solution for your pet’s dry, itchy skin (not to mention it’s a delicious way to soften and repair your pet’s fur).

Our stinky test dog much preferred Fresh Dog to traditional baths. The Dry Shampoo Powder was a cinch to use, and left her clean and silky. We used the Waterless Bath Foam on her after a long day at the beach, and were amazed at how quickly it got rid of that wet-dog smell. Better yet, there was no sticky residue left behind—our test doggie was super smooth and totally huggable!

Even though she’s not the biggest fan of baths, our test dog sure does love to try out new products, so after a long day of getting dirty at the park, we tried the Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner on her. All we can say is “wow!”— we saw a noticeable difference in the smoothness of her skin, and her coat was incredibly shiny and soft.

Fresh Dog products are made in the U.S.A. and are safe for dogs, cats, and humans.

Two lucky TAILS fans are going to win a Fresh Dog combo featuring the Dry Shampoo Powder, the Waterless Bath Foam, and the Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner! Simply comment below telling us what activity your pet most needs freshening up from. We’ll pick two winners, who will get the perfect combo for keeping their dirty pup clean and refreshed!

If you don’t win, you can easily purchase these Fresh Dog products online. Just head over to The Fresh Dog Shop and place your order. You’ll love how easy it will be to keep your dog fresh all summer long!

My GSD-mix gets to play with buddies 2x a week – which is fantastic because it gives him the opportunity to socialize and play, and I have the opportunity to get errands run throughout the week. However, all that romping and playing makes a big pup stinky! Add that to the running aimlessly around the yard for hours a day, and he needs baths often. However, he’s so fluffy that bathing him in the house is a GIANT FLUFFY FURRY MESS. Not having to get him wet while getting him clean would prevent super furry fluffy mess in the bathroom all the time … which would be awesome!

I have 3 Aussies whose mission in life is to get as dirty and stinky as possible. One of my dogs is a wilderness air scent search and rescue dog and her team nickname is “pig pen” You can see why here (note how proud of herself she is): http://community.dog.com/members/jewlieee/photos/picture965943.aspx She not only enjoys swimming every chance she gets but she will lay down in the most disgusting water, swamp, muck holes and roll around. Imagine what my car smells like! I keep a bottle of waterless shampoo and wipes in my SAR bag and go through regular shampoo like crazy! So, we could really use this Fresh Dog set :) I especially love that is it made in the USA. That is extremely important to me in dog products.

I have 2 Pekingese that are “low riders”! Their bellies touch the ground. When we walk down the street we collect grass, mulch, dirt and many other dirty things! I have to brush them out constantly! They need some serious freshening up!

We have two great dane pups(jaxon and johnny walker black) and an older cavalier (emma) who thinks the boys are crazy. They run like mad men anywhere they can possibly go, romping through mud and who knows what else!) And the princess emma gets caught in the crossfire!! So, not only would shampoo and the dirty stuff be super helpful, but the princess would be super grateful!

My Cavaliers do frequent Pet Therapy visits and these products would be perfect to keep them fresh smelling and clean for the patients. I don’t like to wet bathe them too often as it dries out their skin and coat but they need to be well groomed for their nursing home visits.

Um, need I say the words, deer droppings? Maddi lives on 7 acres which she shares with more than one kind of other wild animal. We also have a lot of extra dust and dirt from a very dry summer that screams,”Roll in me, Maddi! ” I so want my dog to be able to BE a dog with all of the natural behaviors that go with being one. :) Maddi is a Golden with skin allergies, so these products seem like they would be great for her!

My four little Yorkies are little dust mops! Their little paws and long hair need a shampoo and condition once a week from all the high energy and activty they do all week! They also love to dig in the mud and roll in the grass. The Oatmeal will really give them a good freshen up!!!!

2 of my boys are major kickers after they pee. Because they’re pugs and it’s been so hot they’ve been a dirty mess (cuz they’re in the yard most of the time not on the sidewalk) and I’m tired of using the grooming wipes all the time. Waterless shampoo would be a dog-send to keep them clean between baths

My dog needs freshening up after rolling around in who knows what. (I really don’t want to know) LOL

My Gsd Mix goes into the yard everyday and runs figure 8′s until she is exhausted. Then she puts her head and chest down to the ground, butt up, and pushes herself thru anything stinky she can find, followed be a good roll over an belly up wiggle to finish off the stinky stuff.

My dogs, Riley, Maddie & Biscuit LOVE romping in our big back-yard! The only problem is that, right beyond our back yard is a big drainage ditch and Maddie is drawn like MAGNETS to the water that collects in it. Maddie will pretend that she has to go potty, and once we get the door open she runs right out the back door and straight to the ditch. If we let her, she will run up and down that ditch for an hour in the muddy, dirty water while Biscuit and Riley look on at the edge of the yard. I can almost imagine them thinking…”that silly dog! Look how dirty she’s getting!” Maddie puts her head in it all the way up to her eyeballs and blows air out her mouth and snout because she LOVES the bubbles that it makes. She’s come back to the door with green slime hanging from one ear and her snaggle tooth. :) We can’t be angry at her because in spite of the mess she makes, she LOVES to play in it! However, you can imagine that we give her LOTS of baths and would love to win the contest prizes so we can keep her and Riley clean and beautiful.

One of my darling Danes has horrible saliva stains, not only around her mouth but also on her “cheeks” from where her jowls rub against her tushy when she’s licking her hiney.
