On the Cover – August 2012
Born in Montreal, Canada, Charles Bush was inspired by his internationally renowned uncle, painter Jack Bush, as well as the legendary photographer Irving Penn. His interest in photography and art led him to study at the prestigious Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California. His ability to capture his subjects’ individuality allows him to produce the elegant, simple images which have become the Bush signature. Charles is a founding member and former vice-president of Advertising Photographers of America. He and his wife Maureen reside in Pasadena, California with their 5 rescue dogs, and are active supporters of Bideawee and the HSUS.
