Positive Change in Frankfort regarding Humane Treatment of Companion Animals

January 7, 2012 by Jillian at Tails in Lifestyle with 0 Comments

Dog in kennelGet your pencil out now and circle, February 23rd on your calendar. The Humane Society of the United States is stepping up to form a group to go to Frankfort for Kentucky Humane Day at our capitol.

Unfortunately, KY ranks as one of the worst states for humane treatment of companion animals. What happened recently in Henry County regarding the puppy mill/hoarding situation was (at a minimum) deplorable, inexcusable torture to the animals having to endure that treatment.

Let’s change this and speak up for animals who can’t speak for themselves. Our group will have appointments with legislators. If you click on the link below, an invitation will be sent to you to join us for positive change in Frankfort on February 23rd. See you there.
