141 Hungry and Thirsty Dogs Found in Truck

During a routine traffic stop in Tennessee 141 dogs were seized after a State Trooper found the innocent animals crammed into a U-Haul truck.

The dogs were hungry, thirsty and terrified. Packed four or five to a crate, the dogs were forced to live in squalor for several days without light, fresh air, or a place to relieve themselves.

The American Humane Association immediately deployed their Red Star Animal Emergency Services team to help save the dogs.

The Red Star team, along with Fayette County officials and the Collierville Animal Shelter, are working together with a veterinarian to ensure the dogs receive the proper care they need.

Because the animals are considered evidence in a criminal investigation, they are not yet available for adoption.

Please consider helping these innocent dogs by making a donation to the American Humane Association.
