Happy beagleDaniel, a spunky beagle who survived the gas chamber, has finally found a forever home with the Dwyer family.  Joe Dwyer, a motivational speaker and dog trainer said, “We can’t deny he has a purpose.  He won’t be exploited. His life as a part of this family is paramount.”

Daniel is one of only three dogs to have survived the gas chamber in the last twelve years.  After being left in a drop box outside a shelter, the stray was scheduled to be euthanized.  To the amazement of the employees they opened the door to find the happy pup wagging his tail – alive and well.  It was a miracle.

News of Daniels amazing survival spread like wildfire and various animal rescue groups took up his cause.  The beagle was taken in by Eleventh Hour Rescue where hundreds applied to adopt him.  Daniel’s story has a very happy ending as the Dwyer family has four other rescue dogs as well.  Daniel is now part of a big, happy family.
