Jack the Missing Airport Cat Becomes Internet Celeb

September 12, 2011 by Jillian at Tails in Home with 0 Comments

Jack the CatJack, who has been missing at John F. Kennedy Airport for the past two weeks, has become somewhat of an internet celebrity. A Facebook page with nearly 14,000 fans and a Twitter account (with almost 300 followers) have been setup in his name as workers and airline officials try to find the missing feline.

Jack went missing from his pet carrier while American Airlines staff were preparing for Tropical Storm Irene on August 25, 2011.

Jack’s owner Karen Pascoe, along with other concerned pet owners, have been putting the pressure on American Airlines to find Jack. A pet investigator and a “dectective dog” have been brought into try to find Jack.

Hopefully Jack’s new found internet stardom will lead to his safe return.
