This is THE place to bring Fido in the Queen City. The Dog Bar serves a wide selection of beer for you, and 
welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes both indoors and out. They will even plan parties for your four-legged buddy. This off-leash hot spot is fenced in, so dogs can run and play while you enjoy a meal or a cocktail.

The Crab Shack, 40 Estill Hammock Road

Tybee Island, Georgia


Their motto, is simply, “Where The Elite Eat in Their Bare Feet.” This high-energy restaurant in Georgia is the perfect getaway for you and your furry friend. We highly recommend the spacious deck overlooking the water, where you and your pooch can relax during dinner, drinks, and dessert. This is a seafood-lover’s haven, and their large menu means plenty of food to share.

Fig Tree Café, 5119 Cass Street

San Diego, California


This family-friendly place is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch—and it’s food you can feel good about. With several menu items being homegrown on a family farm, and a staff that is all about giving back to the community, this is a ”don’t miss” destination. The pet-friendly atmosphere provides a great escape for everyone in the family, and even Rover will feel welcomed.

Joe’s Bar, 940 W. Weed Street

Their huge patio offers a perfect place to escape in the hustle and bustle of the Windy City. Every Wednesday night Joe’s hosts a Doggie Happy Hour, including free treats and water for your pooch, and $5 Coors Light pitchers or 16oz. fresh-squeezed lemonade for you. Every “yappy” hour highlights a different vendor, trainer, shelter, or other special guest for patrons to check out.

The Shake Shack, 366 Columbus Ave

New York, New York



After a long walk in Madison Square Park, it’s the perfect pit stop for you and your furry best friend. This is a burger joint that New Yorkers not only love, but also endure long lines just to indulge. Located across the park from James’ Dog Run, the Shake Shack welcomes all four-legged guests. Famous for burgers, hot dogs, and super thick milkshakes, it is sure to have something to satisfy you and your pooches’ guilty pleasures.

This is an entire county fair dedicated 
to the animals. Features include the world’s 
largest “disco dog” competition and other 
contests including the whackiest pet trick, 
best costume, best kisser, best voice, 
highest jumper, longest ears, and a 
celebrity look-alike contest. Treats will 
be abundant and there will be games 
for all dogs, every shape and size.

What: Wagging Tails and Wine Tasting

This event is sure to please you and your pooch. A day filled with wine and hors d’oeuvres for the adults, and games and activities for our four-legged friends. The event put on by Garden Court Hotel and Palo Alto Patch is not only for animal lovers to enjoy a day of fun in the sun, but also to raise money for the Humane Society of Silicon Valley—100 percent of donations will go to rescue, saving, and raising awareness about dogs. There will be special prizes for all VIPs—very important pets, and one grand prize winner will receive a pet-friendly weekend stay at Garden Court Hotel.
