Willow Street Gallery Show

The gallery show is to shine a positive light on Reading and the K-9 unit. We want to raise awareness of the K-9 group and working with the non-profit volunteer group “The Friends of the Reading Police K-9 Unit”. Here’s their website http://www.readingpolicek9s.com. Our goal creating a buzz so folks might donate a few dollars to show some support and make sure the police force does not disband the unit again like they did in 2005. Here’s some recent issues the K-9 unit faced http://readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=138330. I’m not sure if you are aware of it but several K-9 units in Berks area have been actually phased out since we started the project.

Chief William Heim of the Reading Police is scheduled to visit our gallery today. We have received a lot of support in the community however it has been a long road to make this meeting happen. We hope to earn his support of the project.

Thanks in advance for your help. Hope to see you at the show!
