An Update for “Hope”

September 30, 2010 by Tails Magazine in Inspiration with 0 Comments

The 2-4 year old border collie that was rescued by Louisville Metro Animal Services after being thrown from a car on I-65 on Wednesday, is in stable but critical condition after undergoing surgery last night to repair two spinal fractures.

She is currently being monitored in the intensive care unit and is under the care of a team of doctors. The next few days will be important for Hope as she will require at least one more surgery to repair the broken bones left in her body. Her internal injuries remain a concern and are currently being monitored for changes. Donations are still being accepted.
